area51 I just got this. I plugged it into one of the USB ports of my Pegasus UPBv3. Now what do I do? How do I connect it to my network?
area51 Ok I figured it out so this is for other new users of the Mount Park Sensor. Plug the sensor into a USB port (mine is through my Pegasus Astro UPBv3 On your laptop, connect to the sensor's built in Wifi. You will lose your internet for now (password is darkdragons). Note the IP address of your laptop (e.g. 192.168.4.x). Open a browser and go to http://192.168.4.1 and you will now be connected to the sensor's web page. Go to the wifi icon on this screen and search for your home/observatory wifi network to connect the sensor to your network. Reconnect your laptop to your default network. Use your router to note the new IP address for the sensor and you can now navigate to the sensor's web site and adjust settings. Park your scope in the safe position and set the safe settings as the parked position. Go to the DragonLAIR and turn on the option for the mount sensor.
